Hello,
I have a 750c on order, and would like to know your opinion on the
following!
1. The 750c comes with 4meg of memory (stock). Since I can't afford to
buy 8megs at $800.+ from IBM, I'm going to a third party.
A) What speed is the *stock* 4meg the 750c comes with? Do I need to
match that speed (if there one)?
B) Is there a difference in the voltage, from 5 volt, to 3.3 volt?
C) Can someone please (750c owner) suggest an 8meg memory card,
dealer and any other pertinent information?
2. I'm also buying a *third* party PCMCIA modem.
A) Is there a difference between the 16450 (Megahertz Xjack), and
other 16550 14.4 fax-modems?
B) Can someone please suggest a PCMCIA 14.4 fax-modem, preferably
someone that is running it in the 750c?
I need to make a decision very quickly, so I would appreciate any and
ALL suggestions! Thank you in advance!
