Hello,
Name is Eric and I used the 750 at work. I work for a company that deals
with power systems testing.
I am trying to get a NE200 to work properly on a Novell Netware 2.x
network under both DOS and OS/2.
I was able to get it going under DOS but the preferred server setting
does not work in the net.cfg. The server I am trying to connect to is
the second one on the server list. The desktop machine has no problems.
IBM says that there is no real standard for PCMCIA cards. Novell and
Eagleware do not seem to know anything about it other than "all 750
users are having problems". The most helpful seems to be Socket
Tech (We got some PCMCIA serial port from them) and it is not their
card.
OS/2 does not work at all.
