Crashes with MKS VI for DOS with Tolkit version 4.1

Is anyone else using the DOS version of MKS VI supplied with version 4.1
of the MKS Toolkit for DOS?

ex works very reliably, but when I switch to vi I often get crashes
after a short period of time.

Maybe this is like the cursor problem in WordPerfect?

Any info would be appreciated.
