50 vs. 75 Mhz

I am ordering a TP755 laptop. I have found 2 different setups that
are available to me. One is the TP755C w/540meg HD and a 50Mhz processor,
the other is the TP755Cs w/340meg HD and the 75Mhz processor.

My question: is the 75Mhz that much faster than the 50 Mhz? I would
prefer the larger hard drive and the active matrix screen if the speed
difference is not that great. I also understand that the 50 can be upgraded
to the 75, does anyone know the cost?
