The 700 can be doubled. In fact I just did it on mine 2 days ago. You
can get it for $99 from IBM factory outlet (800-426-7015). The part is
54G0935 for the 700C, or 54G1032 for the 700. The price used to be $525
so get it while you still can.
It's a user installable kit, and it come with a handy chip removal tool.
The whole process including the required reinstallation of the reference
diskette took less than 1/2 hour.
As for the 750 there is no processor upgrade.
