Hi all,

I finally received my extra 4MB of RAM for my Thinkpad 750, so I
immediately installed the OS/2 performance edition that I've been waiting
to install (actually, it's been installed on my desktop for a couple of
weeks). It works pretty well (even in this measly 8MB RAM), but what
really surprised me was that the PCMCIA support recognises my IBM
Fax/Modem (Banksia rebadged).

I had heard that it was necessary to run a DOS session with the DOS
drivers in it and then it was possible to use COM2 from OS2 programs.
But I didn't need to do that at all. I installed the OS2 utilities from
the support disk (1.2 I think) and easyplay recognised the card straight
off. Seems to work without a hitch (I'm using it as I type).

Anyhow, I just thought you'd like to know.

Cheers
ant
