Try this instead:

Reboot your machine ('CTRL-ALT-DEL'), and press 'ALT-F1' when the
retangular white square appears in the upper left corner of the
display. At this point you will be presented with a menu
containing a variety of options, one of which is to reset your
display to VGA. Press 'V' and you should be all set.

Good luck in applying that CSD...I found that the installation was
somewhat problematical on my TP360. Be sure to make a backup copy
of your CONFIG.SYS file so that you'll be prepared in the event
that something goes awry.
