HP Scanjet 3c and Dock II

Anyone get their scanjet 3c recognized by the Dock II Adaptec?

Well...rather...my scsi programs says it sees the deskjet...but deskscan ii
can't communicate w/ the scanner!!!!

Ack!

(Using winblows 3.1 btw...and I even tried disconnecting all external scsi
devices 'cept the scanner and then using the external termination on the
scanner...ARGH!)
