I've changed to a 540MB IBM OEM drive now. It runs fine and seems faster
than the previous 170MB drive. Only it generates a high pitch noise that is
noticeable in a quite room.
After installing the drive I finally shifted to Windows 95. It also solve
my assumption that the Panasonic portable CD-ROM SCSI card can be used
with other SCSI devices. Now a ZIP drive is attached to this PCMCIA card
to provide extra disk space. I could not do it in Win31. Thanks for the
Panasonic new device driver and IOmega's WIN95GUEST the ZIP drive works
very fine with its new partner.
