win95 and pcmcia

anyone have the problem of not getting the pcmcia cards when installing win95
over wfwg 3.11, on a thinkpad 755CE? the thinkpad card program just doesn't
detect them, in this case a new media bustoaster and an ibm ethernet card.

suggestions welcomed.
