XFree86 and 701

Hi,

I was just wondering if it was possible to get X running on the 701
with 16 bpp? I think it's a no :), but worth asking.

Pictures look terrible in WWW (netscape), thats why I'm interested in 16
bpp.

Incidentally if I use XV on the same picture and select 8-bpp, it looks
much better than with netscape, even with the -instal option.
