On the SCSI version:
One annoying thing about the SCSI version of the Iomega Zip drive
is that it is not strictly SCSI compatible. By that I mean it has two
DB25F sockets rather than using C50F or Mini-Micro High Density
SCSI-2; i.e., only 25 of the 50 lines are being used. This is
probably not too critical if it is the only device on the chain.
Incidentally, you can only select SCSI IDs 5 and 6.
An associated problem is choosing a SCSI PC Card (unless you
already have one). There are not that many available and only a small
subset are supported under Win95, OS/2, and Linux.
