TP 701CS + Win311 + 32 Bit disk access

 Hello,
 
 I have upgraded the factory-installed Windows 3.1 on my THinkpad 701CS
 to WFWG 3.11 and now want to use 32 bit DISK access (I am already using
 32 bit FILE access). Has anyone here encountered problems with that ?
 For example what happens when the BIOS spins the disk down to save
 energy etc ? Any conflicts - things to watch out for - any horror stories ?
