Hi,
On the assumption that by 'Virtual screen' you mean something with say
1024 x 768 pixels to be displayed on a screen of say 640 x 480 pixels,
with the virtual screen 'extending' beyond the sides of the real screen by
scrolling when you hit a side...
In which case it works on my ThinkPad 701CS - I think this is something
handled by the video chip, with Windows 95 being blissfully unaware of
what's really going on. I discovered this by accident when my
'Screen resolution' got changed to a higher value than the screen has
pixels. When I go into the 'Display, Settings' section of Control panel,
under 'Change Display Type',
Adapter Type: Chips & Technologies, Accelerator (new)
Monitor Type: (Unknown Monitor)
and for 'Desktop Area' and 'Color Palette' choose your number of
pixels and colours.
cheers,
Andrew
