I would like to point out that the IBM announcement in the previous
message of this thread only pertains to no pre-load, dualboot and warp
versions of the 120 and 133 MHz 560. There have been rumors since
september that IBM would discontinue the low end 560's. However, there is
no evidence for this and it is probably an urban legend (put forward by
digital?). So far the windows 95 version of all three models,
100,120,133, are still available although hard to find. The 560 has
received so many awards and is selling so well that it would be hard to
conceive of IBM discontinuing them at this point. If anyone has any hard
evidence that they are discontinuing any of these machines then please
bring it forward. Otherwise just let this thread die. To get IBM
announcements including discontinued product announcments, point your
browser at www.pc.ibm.com and surf to the search-files page and search on
"announcments".
