Is there a FAQ for the list? I'm sure a lot of these
are going to be on there...
I just bought a Thinkpad 701C, great machine.
The manual seems to say that it's alright to recharge
the battery when it's not empty, and that emptying the
battery will actually shorten it's life. Considering it's
a NiCad, this surprises me. Can anyone shed some more
information on this?
As well, the plastic drive caddy. How difficult are
they to disassemble and change the drive in? I have a
toshiba 1.3 gig drive that would be better in there
than the 360 megger, but I don't want to ruin the
360 caddy to try it. As well, will the BIOS support
the large drive?
Anything I should know about DYI drive swaps?
Also, where can I get an AT command manual for the
built-in modem?
