Performance of Windows NT 4.0 on a 755 ( doesn't make what letter comes
next !!! ) stinks !!! It was fine in the last beta but the GA degraded
significantly. Switch to OS/2, Solaris, Linux or even Wind95 but not NT if
you have a 755 class machine. These all run quite nicely ...

I would have rather put NT Wrkstn. on my 701 than 95, but I have it on my
"server". It has support for APM, PCMCIA, and most of the 700 series
ThinkPads, but I don't know how it is performance-wise on a 755. Also,
hardware detection is different than that of 95.
