Just joining; have a 701 butterfly 75 Mhz, with 24Mb RAM, 540 Mb
disk, dualscan display, IBM PCMCIA CD-Rom.
My wife has a 340.
Was running win 3.1 & OS/2 warp, but have switched to win95 because
of the apps available & power management support.
I've used it mainly for interviews - I'm a systems analyst w/
Systemhouse in Ottawa. I keep it on my lap & it doesn't intimidate
the people.
One note of interest - the "Chateau Tremblant" Canadian Pacific
hotel in the ski area of the same name in Quebec is using networked
thinkpads for check in & out.
Tom
Thanks, Tom
