I DO have a 701C ThinkPad and while it is slower than my Pentium and Pentium PRO it's plenty
fast for the stuff I do when I take it out to client locations. I worked with several people
who had Toshiba Pentium portables and for what we were all doing there was no substantial
difference in the time required to do our work.

>From my perspective what is important is whether the machine I use slows me down and so far
this one does not.
