What type of mouse are you using on what type of thinkpad. If it is a ser
mouse then the serial port is mostlikely disabled. You will need to go into
TP Features or setup, depending on model & enable the serial port. This
will mostlikely disable the IR. If it is a PS/2 Mouse then all you should
have to do is plug it in.
