scroll down to the 701 info and follow the links. It looks like they
plan to include diagrams, but all thats there now is the text
description for disassembly.

IBM Direct at

has a diagram of the 701 at

http://direct.boulder.ibm.com/us/parts/thinkpad/tpad701.htm

and will sell you individual parts at often reasonable prices.
