Maybe it's the color palette. I have the same problem in OS/2 - 16 bit mode -> open DOS session -> screen
gets messed up -> press Fn-F1 -> press ESC -> back to normal. Maybe it's a limitation of the CT65545 chip.
BTW, I have a DSTN screen, but right now I don't have this problem because my backlight broke and am
using an external PS/2 monitor.
