     No can do. You need at least 16MB RAM and with only 16MB your disk
     would be constantly busy. I've run it on a 486/75 w/24MB RAM and that
     works sort-of ok; with NT more is always better!

I have a Thinkpad 500.
486 SLC50
12MB RAM
540 HD.
     
Is it possible to run WIN NT 4.0 on this little machine, or should I
avoid the idea altogether?
I'd like to have access to some of WIN NT 4.0's administrative tools so
I can do some things "remotely" to teh network at my work.
     
I understand NT needs a min of 11mb RAM to run, but will I be a
massichist by trying to run it on my TP500?
     
     
Your input is appreciated before I embark on this potentially futile
attempt at installing it.
