Surely this depends a lot on things like materials used. I don't
remember my 701 supply as being lighter than my 560 supply. (Randal,
you still listening?)
BTW, I thought I could find exact weights on the ibm web site, but they
don't list the 560 adapter's weight (the specs has a 'weight' entry, but
it is blank), and details of the 701 adapter are no longer available
(info about older equipment disappears off the ibm web site with
alarming rapidity:-(
