Win95 screen saver

Folks,

I have win95 on one one of my drives for the TP360 CSE. Running 256
colors,
When the screen saver comes on it causes a lot of hard drive activity.
I can see the hd light blinking away and hear the hard drive. If I press
the enter key once at this point it stops and works fine.

I don't have this problem when using another drive that is OS/2 Warp 3.0
any ideas?
