The 701's form factor has IMHO two big advantages over that of the 560:
(1) It fits better in luggage and briefcases; in particular, I have a
briefcase in which the 701 fits perfectly sideways (and which I no longer
use, since when I put the 560 in it *not* sideways I get a couple of inches
of useless space); and (2) It fits better on small workspaces (airlplane tray
tables, desk typing returns). If I could get get my 560's performance and
reliability in the 701 package, I would instantly opt for the latter.
