Maybe another difference between the TP600 and TP770?
On the ibm website the TP600 memory description says:
SDRAM/3.3v/66MHz/non-parity; two sockets for two JEDEC 144-pin SDRAM
SO-DIMMs
TP770 says:
SDRAM/3.3v/83 or 100MHz/non-parity; two sockets for two JEDEC 144-pin EDO or
SDRAM SO-DIMMs (EDO is not supported on models 5AU/51U/52U/53U).
Why is faster memory required on the 770?
