Guess that means NT doesn't use the halt instruction either.
The only time my 701 runs as hot under Linux as it does under
W95 is if I'm running a processor-intensive process (pegs the
CPU usage at 100%). I also get a little more battery life under
Linux than under W95 (about 2:30 vs. 2:10).
