the 760ED does in fact support the 5.1gig drive..
you must update the bios, however..

note:
IBM prints its manuals with current info, not future info.. :-)
the manual says the 760C series max memory is 40megs.. not so, it is 64megs..

the 5.1gig drive is running in my 760ED and many other machines from 755CD's to
765's and of course, the 770's..
