Part of the problem is in Win98. There was a fix for the 770 on the Beta 3
CD, but it didn't work too well. Dunno about the 760... One the RC0 build
it hangs trying to go into Suspend/Standby mode.... Hope the GA is
better...

I'm wondering if other Thinkpad users have tried the Windows 98 beta and
experienced problems with suspend/hybernation. My Thinkpad 760ED works
great with Windows 98, with that one hitch. Do you know if IBM will be
coming out with some update to make the Thinkpad function properly? Thanks
