        There aren't many options re. speed, I think. The average 2.5"
drive has a seek time of 12-13ms and an rpm of 4200 or so, originally
because a faster drive would require more power and dent battery life.
There are new drives that are faster (Ultra-ATA or DMA or something),
but I don't know if they're compatible with something like the 701 or
what sort of power requirements they have. I *do* know that the spec
for laptop drives changed the position of the screw holes. Instead of
a four sort of square in the middle, new drives have them at the
corners of the drive.

Direct, then got another for much less for a friend off eBay today :-(
