Not much difference at all--both are almost entirely unreadable outdoors.

Actually, that's not entirely true--you can *sort of* see a TFT if you're
in the shade enough. But generally...its painful. A dual-scan? Not a
chance.

As I mentioned in my TP 600 "Battery" post, the Ziff-Davis says on average
the P-II is about 22% faster (in practice) than the same (or similar)
machine with a straight Pentium MMX of the same clock speed.
Whether that is worth the cost to you is another issue. :-)
