ALSO NOTE:
the 8.1gig will work ONLY in the 770ED.. and NOT in the 770-1AU..
not sure about the other sub-models in each group or the why of it..
(i know this much.. win95 and the TP bios do not seem to agree on the
cylinder, head, sector totals and thus kick the drivers over to DOS
compatibility mode.. also, a fellow in germany who has my first 8.1gig reports
he is uning NT4 with no problem)

otherwise any IBM HDD will work in the 770..
