you can repair it if you can find a dead machine with a good display..
white screen sounds like a cable.. THE cable..!
have you tried to isolate the problem by connecting an external monitor..??
which would tell you if the problem is the video board or the cable/top
assy..
a 365X might have a 10.4TFT display and thus use the same part as the 365E
series which should be cheaper on the used market..
but all that having been said, its really risky buying a used machine in the
hope of doing the repair yourself..
these things can be tricky.. the used machine might need the same part..
etc., etc., ad inf..
