If this question is directed toward ME..
i usually call no one, i just go for it..!! :-)
trouble is, the 'energy' usually dissapates before all the 'toys' are gathered.. :-\
SO, spontenaiety is really the best way..
now, we come to memory and trying an 'unsupported' part in a thinkpad or any other
machine..
I sure would try it..
nothing much to loose..
USUALLY it'll work or it won't..
on that rare occasuion when there is a loud "POP" and a small spiral of smoke flows
>from the trackpoint, well..
youse pays yer money and youse takes yer chances..
BUT, when i sell a memory part to someone, they'll ask for my considered advice..
i'll tell'em this is what the mfg says..
if i had a 365X to test, i sure would test it.. then i could say this is what my
experiences were..
AND, i sure take no offense when you say try it, maybe you'll like it.. :-)
