Hi, I am interested in the 770ED but I have several questions before I
make my decision.
I would like to hook up a MIDI cable to it. What would I need? Would the
Selectabase 770 be the ideal? Or, is there a USB or PC Card solution?
Same questions for gamepads and joysticks.
I haven't read much about the Selectabase 770. Any comments?
I read in a previous message that the hard drive may not be fast enough
for video capture. Advice?
Does it ship with Win 95 or 98? How easy is it to install NT4.0
(dual-boot)?
What exactly is "3d sound?" Does it support Wave table audio?
Any opinions on connecting mice? Microsoft wheel mouse versus IBM's
trackpoint.
Does it support 24-bit color on the LCD. I know that it has 4M of VRAM but
there is conflicting information on the IBM web site that states it has
true color; but the matrix document shows that only 18 bit color is
supported (ftp://ftp.pc.ibm.com/pub/pccbbs/mobiles/thsmatrx.pdf). Which
is it?
Any recommended mail-order dealers? Any to avoid?
Any news on the 770X? Latest 770? Any specifications?
