Hey there,
I know this is a really over-abused topic, but this charging bit is
getting me confused. I'v been told that with NiMH, there's the 'memory
affect', but that with the 701 'advanced NiMH', this isn't true. Taking the
later into consideration, what's the best way to get a full, deep charge?
Reason I ask is that if I take my battery all the way down, and then
re-charge it, the time on FN-F2 is decreased by ~5mins! This is when the
battery is on AC(and has been for about 10hrs now) and the BIOS says it is
fully charged.Currently the fullest charge on AC I can get is 2:42. First
time I got it, which was about a month or two ago, it would charge to 3:00,
3:05 if I was lucky. One other small quirk-supposidly I should have around
1min after the main battery is fully discharged for the system to go into
suspend and so that I can get to an Ac source, right? When I'm working,
even in Dos, I'll get the warning beep, but then my system just shuts down.
I have never had the warning beeps come before-hand. Defeats the purpos in
my mind.
Thanks for your time, preciate it.
-Jamie
