Hi everyone.

I'm puzzled by IBM's latest announcement of the 600E.
It seems they think CPU-only Mpeg2 decoding is enough to watch movies
>from the DVD drive...
I couldn't find any mention of hardware-based Mpeg2 decoding in IBM's
latest tbook.pdf file.

Is this a joke ?
I know it's a PII-300, but it's only a 66Mhz bus and everybody knows
that
the CPU can't handle that much.

Am I missing something here ?
