On most newer Thinkpads the hardware choice between ECP and EPP is
made in the Thinkpad Features program - I don't know if this includes the 760, but I suspect it does. You can also keep
ECP and disable the DMA - under W95 (at least) the port is
then treated like an EPP (I think).
