Larose,
I have both the Quick Drive (which uses a 3.5" drive) and the Pocket Drive (which uses a 2.5" drive). I have used them regularly on my TP 365XD with no problems under Win95 and OS/2 Warp 4. I needed to set my parallel port to Bi-directional. Also, shouldn't use the ECP/EPP setting that uses DMA. The H45 drives cannot use DMA. The drives are slower than SCSI or PCMCIA connected drives, but they are more than adequate for most functions.
I have had one problem with them. The short 25-pin caable that came with the PocketDrive has failed. On of the wires in the cable has evidently broken. Testing shows that all 25 pins are connected straight through, so it is fairly easy to replace it.
By the way, it is possible to connect 2 3.5" drives in the Quick Drive but of course, you could not close the case. Both drives are visible to the operation system. The H45 electronics is essentially like an IDE controller that can be set to the Secondary IDE settings. H45 should possibly make a case that will hold 2 drives.
