Exactly what local support are you going to get? I would suspect that, for
most problems with the machine, the machine would have to be sent to an IBM
technician one way or the other. Indeed, I don't know if I'd trust a
non-IBM-authorized store messing with my laptop.

So, perhaps >where you buy< the machine doesn't change much about >where
you'll get it serviced<.
