Yes I use X under Linux on the 755C, 256 colour mode, it works great. Linux is Redhat 5.1.

Speaking of Linux, has anyone got X Windows to work on a ThinkPad 355x, 360x, 750x, or 755x (since
I think they all use the same video chipset, the WD 90C24)?

I can't run X for some reason, even after configuring it on numerous occasions.
I'm using Slackware 3.2 I think, Linux 2.0.29.

I use this for my C programming class, and basically need it just for gcc, but would rather
use X.
