Hi all, I thought I had my mind setup. Eventhough I still have not seen (in
person) the i Series, it looks like a very cool machine, with everything I
would need to replace my old Dell Dimension 75. Now comes the Inspiron 3500,
which is lighter, uses a Lith battery, and is 233 Pent II. The only things
is that the i series comes with 64 megs and good speakers, the rest, I have
no idea. I do not care much for software because I use Office and the Net,
thats all. I heard the Pent II runs hotter than the 266 MMX and the last is
better on battery life. Another thing I like about the i Series is that is a
complete package and do not have to swap drivers and have a better IMO track
point.
Bottom line, help me with this choices. BTW I have a budget for the low end
$1999 Inspiron and/or the $1999 i Series.
