There was an optional DIMM Adapter back when 32 meg IC DRAM cards were
not available. The SO DIMM Adapter could take up to two 16meg DIMMs.
With the advent of IC DRAM cards of 32meg capacity, these things were
eventually phased out. FYI, most of the DIMMS sold now are non-parity.
I would suspect the DIMM on your adapter is of a non-parity nature too.
