Has anyone managed to get IR working properly on this machine? As far as
I can tell there's no IR port - every other laptop I've seen, even other
thinkpads, have a dark red glass "eye" transceiver. The 560X has the
same plastic casing where the port should be - the IR symbol is embossed
on the case. Am I missing something obvious? Is there a cover that needs
to be removed or something?
I just got a Zaurus 3500X that supports IR sync, but the 560X refuses to
see it. I've already enabled it in device manager. I also tried
disabling the serial port to prevent conflicts. I can have both active
by reassigning IRQs, but it doesn't change anything. I can sync via
cable, but it's a hassle as I have a scanner connected on the serial
port and I don't want to swap cables all the time. Besides, it's a lot
cooler when you do it wirelessly :-)
Any suggestions?
