Hi,
in the last 2 month I have many times posted that my thinkpad 770 ed has
prolems with suspend.
The first problem was after suspending the thinkpad wouldnīt resume. I
have to reset it. This worked 2 weeks, after this I have to pull out the
battery and to reset it many times before it would boot.
Then few weeks later after switching off the thinkpad correctly it
wouldnīt boot the first time, so I had to reset it many times pull out
the battery and wait 2 or 3 hours before it could boot.
As you can expect after few weeks nothing worked correct, no booting
nothing only some blinking and some mysterious sounds.
Until this day I thought a computer works or works not, but I learned
that a computer simillar to a human can get ill and then more ill until
he falls in coma.
But IBM had some antibiotica for him, sending him 2 weeks to IBM they
replaced the motherborad (for us humans impossible :( ) and the
videocard and now all works fine.
To all other having such problems (and there were few in this group)
send your thinkpad for repair to IBM, donīt spend hours in solving the
problem, you couldnīt solve it.
Best regards
