I just called EasyServ (that is what it's called in my user's reference--is
EZ-Serve a new name?) to get two items on my Thinkpad 600 repaired: the left
speaker, which is a little flaky, and paint that's coming off the palmrest.
They were very courteous, and gave me no indication that there would be any
charges incurred. Of course, I am using EasyServ in Canada, so if, as Bill
mentioned, EasyServ in the U.S. has been sold but not in Canada, that might
make a difference. Anyhow, I'm waiting for the box to arrive, and will let
the list know how it goes. They say it'll take 4-5 days to swap out the
entire top panel.
