Hmmmmm..

I just checked the webpages at IBM and they are still listed..

I just got another "i" 1720 Monday, shipped Friday from IBM Durham, NC to
replace the on I got last month with bad pixels in the center of the
screen. So it looks like if it's so it may only be the 1400's and not
the 1720. Maybe I'll call IBM direct sales today and inquire as to
purchasing a 1450 and see what happens.

BTW Eric..

How did you get 48mb in your 701?? Mine has 8 + 32 = 40...
