An update on my last message message..
I checked the news announcemets at ibm and the only one I can find listing
any "pad" in the last 2 months is;

which is dated Dec, 1st.
It shows some 600's 770, 380's and a Wordpad being withdrawn but no
1400's. Of course it may have not been posted yet.
