I don't get it ... the original problem is not about copying or piracy, but
about wanting to play a DVD movie from another region.

So what does the movie industry gain from making it impossible for me to
watch American movies?

Gates who wants to be richer than god..
all endevor or risk should be rewarded.. but "How much is enough" ??
